Facebook and time management

I happened to read a article on how Facebook is becoming a serious problem for companies in terms of time consuming socializing vs. effective work in the office. My girlfriend also reported that after getting her Facebook profile she was found by many members of her multinational company and now she can see them filling silly questionnaires and playing games.

For me, Facebook is mainly about letting my friends know what is on my mind, what I am working on, what interests me. Quizzes are not part of my Facebook picture. For this I mainly share links to different media with interesting content and post status messages. At least for the latter I can imagine a better – time management related – way: a small application for ToDos that can post changes in the list to the Facebook os Twitter profile. So I am going to find if there are any of these in place…
